Head-On Crash In Hudson Valley Kills 77-Year-Old Driver, Injures Two Others
A 77-year-old man is dead and two others are injured following a violent head-on collision on a rural Columbia County road. Troopers responded to County Route 19 and White Oak Lane in the town of Livingston for a two-car crash at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22. A preliminary investigation found that Noel Brown, of Clinton Corners, was driving his Toyota pickup southbound on County Route 19 when he failed to keep right and crossed into oncoming traffic, according to New York State Police. Police have released the names of the four people killed in a devastating two-vehicle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in New York that claimed the life of beloved football coach and teacher Robert Violante, as well as three New Jersey men. Driver Killed In Wrong-Way, Head-On Crash In Capital Region
One driver was killed and another hospitalized in a wrong-way, head-on crash in the Capital Region. The wreck happened in Colonie, on Wolf Road south of Sand Creek Road, at around 1:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. A driver was traveling northbound on Wolf Road when they crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle, Colonie Police said. The driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to police.
