Hudson Valley Man Armed With Knife Holds Police At Bay For 5 Hours An attempt to serve an arrest warrant in the region led to a five-hour standoff with law enforcement. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 11 a.m. on Monday, July 1, on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. According to Capt. Man Hit, Killed Walking In Hudson Valley Auto Dealership Parking Lot A 41-year-old man was hit and killed while walking in an auto dealership parking lot by another man attempting to park. The incident occurred in Orange County on Monday, May 20, at Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Route 17K in the town of Newburgh. According to Newburgh Police, A 2024 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 68-year-old man was entering a parking space at the dealership when the vehicle suddenly accelerated, striking the pedestrian walking directly in front of the Jeep.
