School Bus Driver Trying To 'Cook' Children Turns Heat Up To 100 Degrees, Police Say
A Pennsylvania school bus driver turned the heater on full blast, raising the temperature to nearly 100 degrees while threatening to “cook” children on board, police announced on Friday, Sept. 19.
Harvey Sliker, 75, of Utica, allegedly forced children ages 5 to 12 to close their windows before blasting the heater during an afternoon ride in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Sept. 17, according to Sugarcreek Borough police.

A onetime teacher at a private boarding school in upstate New York will spend decades in prison for torturing and sexually abusing children under his care.
Paul Geer, 58, of Hancock, was sentenced to over 27 years behind bars in Albany federal court on Thursday, Sept. 4, after a jury found he brought two children across state lines to sexually abuse them.
