16-Year-Old Girl From Region Stabbed By Boyfriend, Police Say A 16-year-old girl is recovering after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend during a fight. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 31 Eliza St., in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, officers found the teen bleeding when they responded to a call for a woman who had been stabbed. The girl was bleeding from what appeared to be a stab wound to her leg, Figlia said. She was transported to a hospital for treatment, police said. Man Accused Of Biting, Assaulting Deputy After Crash In Hudson Valley A man has been charged with allegedly biting and assaulting a deputy attempting to arrest him following a crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of LaGrange, at around 12 a.m. on Monday, July 29. According to Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Jordon A. Robin, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, was charged in connection with an auto accident investigation and subsequent assault.
