Man Attacked, Killed By Dogs In Albany County Police in the Capital District are investigating after a man was mauled and killed by a pack of dogs. The incident occurred in Albany around 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the 500 block of Central Avenue. According to Albany Police, officers responded to reports of a man being attacked by several dogs. Upon arrival, they found the dogs fatally attacking the man, and in an attempt to stop the attack, one of the responding officers discharged his duty weapon, striking at least one dog.
