Fatal Crash: Motorist Killed After Being Ejected From Vehicle In Hudson Valley
A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 in Ulster County in the town of Gardiner. A preliminary investigation by New York State Police revealed that a 2017 Ford operated by a 62-year-old Long Island resident Carle Place, was traveling east bound on State Route 44/55 and made a left turn onto State Route 299 traveling west. 2 Police Officers Hit, 1 Seriously Injured By Car In Hudson Valley
Two police officers were injured after allegedly being hit by a red Lexus that fled the scene during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Sunday, May 12, at Main and Church Streets in the City of Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie PD Det. Sgt. Man Struck, Killed By Car In Hudson Valley
A man was hit and killed by a vehicle while crossing a busy roadway in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Saturday, June 18 in Wappingers Falls on South Avenue near West Academy Street. The responding officers found Robert English, age 44, of Wappingers Falls, critically injured in the roadway, said Commissioner Charles Ferry, of the Wappingers Falls Police Department. A man who allegedly stabbed his mother and then killed a pedestrian in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the area has been apprehended. The incident unfolded in Dutchess County around 9:44 p.m., on Wednesday, May 20, when Fishkill Police responded to a report of a vehicle-pedestrian auto accident in the area of Route 82 and Crestwood Court. Three Suspects On Loose After Shooting During Robbery Attempt At Area Home
Three armed, masked men are on the run after allegedly shooting an area resident during an attempted robbery. The incident took place around 11:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7 in Ulster County in the area of Forrest Drive at the Dutcher Mobile Home Park in Port Ewen, said the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
