Health officials in Anne Arundel County have issued an alert after a raccoon tested positive for rabies. The raccoon was found on Lee Boulevard, near John Marshall Park in Shady Side, on Friday, April 5, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health said. Anyone who may have had contact with the infected animal, or whose pets have unexplained wounds, is being instructed to contact the Department of Health. Suspect Charged In String Of Prince George’s County Apartment Break-Ins: Police
Police have identified and charged a suspect in a string of apartment break-ins in Prince George’s County. Augustine Koroma, 22, of Lanham, was charged with a residential robbery at a home on the 9900 block of Good Luck Road that occurred on Monday, April 8. Koroma allegedly broke into the apartment around 5 a.m., implied he had a gun and demanded the victims’ property. “In fear for their lives, they complied,” said police. 5 Teens Arrested For Attempted Armed Carjacking In Howard County: Police
Five teens were arrested Tuesday, April 7 after an attempted armed carjacking in Howard County with two of them linked to a series of robberies from several months ago, police said. Three males ages 15, 14, and 14, as well as two 15-year-old females, all of Baltimore City, were charged with armed robbery, carjacking and other offenses, the HCPD said. Suspect Charged With Murder Of Teen In Baltimore’s Central District: Police
A suspect has been arrested and charged days after the deadly shooting of a teen in Baltimore’s Central District, police said. Dejuan Cole, 19, was charged with first-degree murder, Baltimore Police said Tuesday, April 9. Cole, of Pikesville, is accused of shooting 17-year-old Devron Tyner near the 200 block of East Pratt Street on Monday, April 1. Tyner was found wounded at the scene shortly before 8:30 p.m. and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Cole turned himself in Monday and was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
