Bicyclist Fatally Crashes Into Parked Tractor-Trailer In Long Island: Police A 51-year-old bicyclist died after crashing into a parked tractor-trailer in Syosset, Nassau County police announced Saturday, Jan. 18. The fatal collision happened around 9 a.m. on the Long Island Expressway’s South Service Road, also known as South Marginal Road, between exits 43 and 44, according to detectives. The Salem County Correctional Facility released the mugshot of 43-year-old Sean Higgins to Newsweek.
