A man who shot another man twice outside Jake's 58 Casino on Long Island will spend the next decade behind bars, prosecutors announced on Monday, June 8.
Nashawn J. Legros, 26, of Wyandanch, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the May 2024 shooting, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney.
