Linda Lavin, the two-time Golden Globe winner and Emmy-nominated actress whose career spanned six decades on stage and screen, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 29, at the age of 87, according to The New York Times.
Born in Portland, Maine, Lavin studied acting at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, where she was deeply involved in the theater program. Garwood, NJ native Lisa DiLeo will face off against two-time defending "Jeopardy!" champion Stevie Ruiz from Long Island and retired grant writer Dave Bond from West Henrietta, NY.
DiLeo, 56, a business support analyst, will make her "Jeopardy!" debut, aiming to dethrone Ruiz, whose two-day winnings are nearing $36,000.
