Kevin Lawry, 38, of Plainview, was identified as the victim struck by 39-year-old Veronica Marmol, of College Point, Queens, heading east in a Jeep Wrangler at Old Country Road and Floral Avenue, just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Lynn Walsh, 70, of Massapequa Park, died on March 17, 2023 after she was struck by an off-duty NYPD officer in a marked crosswalk on Sunrise Highway near Unqua Road in Massapequa Park.
