An off-duty firefighter, nurse, and passing driver revived a woman ejected from a vehicle on the Garden State Parkway on Wednesday, Aug. 9, sources tell Daily Voice.
UPDATE: A 54-year-old Port Jervis, NY woman driving a Chevrolet SUV veered off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail, sending the vehicle into the roadway in front of a Chevrolet pickup truck near milepost 136.5 in Clark, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said.

Missing NY Woman Found Dead, Police Say
A missing Hudson Valley, NY woman who police have spent hundreds of hours searching for has been found dead in a wooded area, authorities said.
Orange County resident, Brittany Hendershot, 19, of Port Jervis, has been missing since Thursday, June 23, but was officially reported missing to police on Tuesday, July 5 by her mother.
Following the missing person's report, the Port Jervis Police Department initiated an investigation which revealed that Brittany was last seen in the Town of Wallkill, said Chief William Worden, of the Port Jervis Police.

A 35-year-old New York man was drunk and covered in vomit when he drove with an open trunk on Route 15, authorities said.
Adam Doukas, of Otisville, was found covered in vomit as officers stopped him for the open trunk and several other violations on Route 15 in Sparta around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, police said in a Monday release.
When the officer asked Doukas if he knew where he was, he stated that he thought he was in Port Jervis, NY, according to police.
Doukas then handed the officer his credit card instead of registration when asked for his credentials, police said.

A single, unemployed Northvale man was found with more than 2,400 illegal child-porn images -- and had been chatting online with girls as young as 10, authorities said.
Corey Barraclough, 27, was arrested in Port Jervis on Thursday -- with assistance from Deerpark, N.Y. police -- following a raid on his East Avenue home, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.

Three New York State men were arrested by Mahwah police who said they found the trio carrying 450 bags of heroin during a stop on northbound Route 287.
Officer Chistopher Fasulo stopped the car, driven by by Donovan Burton, 18, of Port Jervis for several motor vehicle violations, Police Chief James N. Batelli said.
