O'Neill High School on Tuesday, according to the Times Herald-Record.  The funding will go to replacing the playing surface on the main field and the multi-purpose athletic field. Newburgh Swears In 7 New Police Officers NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The City of Newburgh welcomed seven new police officers to the force at a swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.  Matthew McAllister, Rafael Santiago, Robert Ambrosetti, Kevin Aguilar, Ryan Blair, Dellauno Thomas and Nico Gerardi were all sworn in at City Hall. Middletown Man Sentenced In Child Molestation Case MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – A Middletown man who admitted to molesting a child will serve six months in prison after being sentenced on Monday, according to the Times Herald-Record.  Albert Van Houten, 67, admitted in March to inappropriate touching of a 7-year-old girl under her shorts. Newburgh Teen Who Killed Cornwall Man Smiles During Sentencing NEWBURGH, N.Y. – An 18-year-old Newburgh man had a smirk on his face as he was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Monday for killing a Cornwall man, according to the Times Herald-Record.  Devin Isaac admitted to shooting DeAndric Little in the chest on Aug. 1, 2016 and killing the well-known writer and music producer. Frost Advisory Issued For Orange County ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. – The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Orange County from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Tuesday.  Temperatures will dip into the low-to-mid 30s overnight. Residents are advised to protect any sensitive plantlife they have outdoors.  Patchy frost could also return Tuesday night into Wednesday before things warm up a little.
