Robert Jacobs, 74, Wyckoff Resident WYCKOFF, N.J. – Robert P. “Jake” Jacobs, of Wyckoff, died Friday, July 1. He was 74. Born in Paterson, he was a longtime resident of Wyckoff. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War era. He was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol A. Jacobs. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.
