Wanaque Man Charged With Threatening Woman At Gunpoint

WANAQUE, N.J. — Wanaque police on Friday arrested a Haskell man who they said threatened a woman at gunpoint in a liquor store parking lot.

Lynn McClendon, 24, had a black pellet gun and marijuana when police took him into custody at his home, Capt. Ken Fackina said.The night before, he'd threatened the 19-year-old woman in the parking lot of a Ringwood Avenue liquor store, the captain said.McClendon was awaiting bail Friday afternoon at police headquarters on charges of making terroristic threats, along with weapons and marijuana possession, Fackina said.
