A 36-year-old Paterson resident was arrested and charged after she was driving the wrong way with children in the car in Denville, authorities announced Friday, July 25. On Monday, July 20, at 1:36 a.m., officers responded to a report of a wrong-way driver on Route 46, Denville police said. Coroner IDs Motorcyclist Killed By Wrong-Way Driver On PA Turnpike
Officials have identified the motorcyclist who they say was struck and killed by a wrong-way driver on the PA Turnpike Sunday, March 30. Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio identified the biker as John Joseph Sweeney, 50, of Bristol, PA. Sweeney had gone out with a group of five other riders when he was struck by a wrong-way driver, a 24-year-old woman from Perth Amboy, NJ, according to Buglio and Pennsylvania State Police.
