Motorcyclist Killed In Burlington County Crash: Njsp A 61-year-old Mays Landing motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Burlington County Friday, July 3. At 8:21 p.m., troopers responded to County Route 542 East in Washington Township after Patrick Hickerson was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control, traveled off the roadway to the right and was ejected, Caitlin Brennan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Hickerson was pronounced dead at the scene, Brennan said. The crash remains under investigation, Brennan said.
