11 Missing At Sea, Survivors Suffer Suspected Shark Bites After Boat Capsizes: Coast Guard The Coast Guard has ended its search for 11 people missing after a boat capsized off the coast of Mexico, leaving three survivors with suspected shark bites. An estimated 27 people were aboard the boat when it began taking on water about 140 miles west of Ensenada, Mexico, around 1 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, the Coast Guard said in a news release.
