Prenell Rousseau, 30, of Farmingdale, was jogging when he was struck and killed on or near the tracks in Westbury before dawn on Wednesday morning, March 25, the outlet said citing officials and sources. Woman Struck, Killed By Train In Orange
A woman was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train in Orange on Friday, March 13, authorities said. At 1 a.m. , a train on the Gladstone Branch of the Morris & Essex Lane, struck and killed the woman at Highland Avenue station, NJ Transit said. The train had departed at Gladstone at 11:53 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Hoboken Terminal at 1:22 a.m., NJ Transit said. No injuries were reported to the eight customers or crew on board, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation. The woman has not been identified.
