Services Set For Woodbridge Officer, SWAT Member Killed In Carteret Crash
Funeral services have been finalized for Michael Tenpenny, the Woodbridge police officer who was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Carteret last week.
Tenpenny, 31, a patrol officer with the Woodbridge Township Police Department, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, following a crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer in Carteret, authorities confirmed. Additional details about the crash have not been released.

A 28-year-old Emerson man arrested by a SWAT team in a Glen Rock road rage incident this week has a rap sheet dating back more than a decade, including drug, theft, and weapons offenses across multiple towns, Daily Voice has learned.
Gregory T. Delgado, was taken into custody on Thursday, May 29, after threatening a driver with what he claimed was a gun during a violent encounter the previous day, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. But records show this is far from Delgato’s first run-in with the law.

An arrest has been made days after 14-year-old Emmarae Gervasi was rescued from a Long Island yacht after nearly a month missing, according to her father, who made the rescue, and local police.
Emmarae "Emma" Gervasi was last seen on Terrell Street in Patchogue around 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9. Her father, Frank Gervasi, found her on a boat named The Phoenix on Jan. 3, 26 days after her disappearance, thanks to an anonymous tip, he tells Daily Voice.
