Deer Found Shot Dead By Arrow At Secaucus Softball Field: Police A deer was found dead in Secaucus near softball fields on Sunday, Sept. 7, authorities said. At 8:01 a.m., officers responded to the softball fields on Millridge Road and found a deceased male buck that had been shot by an arrow at another location, Secaucus police said. The New Jersey Conservation Police responded to assist with the investigation, police said. A Secaucus ordinance prohibits hunting within town limits, but is allowed on the waterways surrounding the town, police said.
