The increase will go into effect on Wednesday, Jan. 1, with a 50-cent hike to the base NY E-ZPass toll rates and tolls-by-mail that began in 2024 and will continue each year through 2027, when it hits $7.75. The incident occurred on the Westchester/Rockland County border around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, at Lake Sebago in Stony Point.
