Man Shot With Arrow In South Jersey Woods In Possible Targeted Attack: Police
A 65-year-old man was struck by an arrow in a wooded area behind a property in South Jersey early Sunday morning, May 10, police said. Officers were called to 467 Cooper St. at 6:02 a.m. for a report of a man who had been hit by an arrow, Woodbury City police said. Officers found the 65-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. The attack was targeted, police said. Deer Found Shot Dead By Arrow At Secaucus Softball Field: Police
A deer was found dead in Secaucus near softball fields on Sunday, Sept. 7, authorities said. At 8:01 a.m., officers responded to the softball fields on Millridge Road and found a deceased male buck that had been shot by an arrow at another location, Secaucus police said. The New Jersey Conservation Police responded to assist with the investigation, police said. A Secaucus ordinance prohibits hunting within town limits, but is allowed on the waterways surrounding the town, police said.
