The young man who fell 21 feet from the bleachers onto the warning track at PNC Park during a Pirates game is now walking—but his injuries remain severe, and his family says the fight is far from over.
Kavan Markwood, who tumbled from the Clemente Wall during the seventh inning of the Wednesday, April 30 Pirates-Cubs matchup, suffered a broken neck, clavicle, and back, according to family friend Jennifer Phillips. He was left in critical condition after the fall, which Pittsburgh Public Safety has ruled accidental in nature.

Yuda Sunarno, a 43-year-old Oak Ridge resident and Passaic County corrections officer died on Sunday, Feb. 2, according to his obituary from the Vander May Funeral Home.
A football player at Bloomfield High School, Sunaro later graduated from Montclair State University, his obituary reads.
Initially beginning his career working at Aeropostale, Sunaro later applied to the Passaic County Sherriff's Office, working as a corrections officer for more than 10 years at Grand Street Jail in Paterson, according to his obituary.
