For the first time in decades, some Hudson River fish are allowed back on the menu. But not without limits. The New York State Department of Health this month announced updated guidance allowing people to eat certain fish from the Lower Hudson River for the first time in 50 years, according to state officials. Police have identified the fisherman who went missing and was later found dead in a New Jersey lake. Valeri Malov, of Pine Brook, had gone fishing in the body of water behind an industrial complex on Chapin Road Saturday morning, Aug. 24, Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said.
