A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all 21 New Jersey counties through 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters warned that scattered wind gusts up to 70 mph, isolated quarter-size hail, and frequent lightning are possible across the state. Severe thunderstorms could develop throughout the afternoon and evening as a strong storm system moves across the region, the NWS said. A North Jersey man is accused of possessing hundreds of images of child sexual abuse, authorities said. A New Jersey elementary school teacher has been charged with distributing and possessing child sexual abuse materials, authorities said. Kenneth Vaughn, 35, of Peapack, was found with files showing the sexual abuse and exploitation of a minor on a social media and messaging platform, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said.
