Graduate programs across the Northeast are being recognized among the best in the nation, according to a new report.
U.S. News & World Report released its 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings on Tuesday, April 7. The list evaluates programs in several fields, including business, law, medicine, engineering, education, and nursing.

Anthony Kulzy Jr., of Seaside Park, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at his home, according to his obituary on the Ryan Funeral Home website. He was 15 years old.

Teacher, 32, Sexually Assaults Paterson 9-Year-Old In Classroom, Prosecutor Says
A 32-year-old New Jersey teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 9-year-old student, authorities said.
Paul Yang, of Leonia, carried out the act inside of a classroom in Paterson in October, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.
The Institutional Abuse Investigation Unit of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency told detectives that the 9-year-old “had disclosed that an incident of abuse took place inside a classroom during the school day,” on Oct. 22, the prosecutor said.
