Orlando Ocampo Gallo, 50, of Dover, was caught stealing fragrance merchandise from Macy’s before noon Saturday, July 5, according to Wayne Police. Loss prevention staff told officers Gallo stuffed cologne into a backpack and walked past all points of sale. A 19-year-old former soccer player has been identified as the person struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Tuesday, May 27 in Summit. At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured Dylan Faulkner, NJ Transit said. A native of England, Faulkner moved to Summit at the age of 12, attending middle school and high school there, according to his obituary. Man Fatally Struck By Train In Summit: NJ Transit
A man was fatally struck by a train near Summit Station, early Tuesday morning, May 27, authorities said. At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured the man, NJ Transit said. There were no injuries reported to the approximately 50 customers or crew on board, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
