Long Island Son's Chilling Final Words To Parents Before ‘Suicide By Cop’ Revealed
A man was shot and killed by police on Long Island after pointing what appeared to be a shotgun at officers during a domestic disturbance.
The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in Carle Place, Nassau County Police said.
Officers responded to a home on Rushmore Avenue after receiving a 911 call from a woman reporting that her 33-year-old son, identified as James Rosano, was “out of control,” highly intoxicated, and refused to leave the residence.

A New Milford traffic stop ended with a Paterson man in handcuffs after police say he falsely claimed to work for the FBI and was carrying a Glock BB gun, handcuffs, and a fraudulent government parking placard.
Officer Desmond Kivlehan stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations on Graphic Boulevard around 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
The driver, identified as Clint Givans, 25, of Paterson, told the officer he worked for the FBI but was also a Lyft driver waiting for a passenger, according to police.

Two teens thought they were going on a date. Instead, they walked into an armed robbery, police in Clifton said.
The incident happened around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, when Clifton Police responded to Harrington Road for a reported armed robbery, Lt. Robert Anderson said.
