Gunman Robs Wells Fargo In Elmwood Park, Assaults Employee, Prosecutor Says A masked man with a handgun robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Elmwood Park on Thursday morning, July 3, before assaulting an employee and fleeing with cash, authorities said. The robbery occurred around 9:19 a.m. at the bank located at 115 Broadway, according to Deputy Chief of Detectives Jeff Angermeyer of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
