A months-long investigation into an illegal drug distribution network led to coordinated police raids across North Jersey, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of weapons, drugs, and cash, authorities said.
The Wayne Police Department and New Jersey State Police executed the raids on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with assistance from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Clifton, Haledon, and Pompton Lakes Police Departments. A 53-year-old man accused of shooting a pet store employee in the face with a crossbow in North Jersey was tracked down less than 24 hours later with help from the FBI and the Bergen County SWAT team, and more, in Ocean County, authorities said.

Repeat Englewood Offender Arrested For DUI After Sending Car Into Teaneck Tree: Police
An Englewood man with a history of arrests was taken into custody again this weekend after crashing his car into a tree in Teaneck while driving under the influence, police said.
Court records show that Shawne Wolfe, the driver arrested in the incident on Sunday, Feb. 16, has nine pages of offenses including burglary, DUIs, assault, and more, dating back to 2005 (scroll down for more on Wolfe's history).
