Police ID Homeowner Killed In South Jersey Fire
Authorities have identified the Cape May County resident killed in a house fire. Joanne Nessen died of possible asphyxia from the fire at her home in North Wildwood, NJ on Thursday, July 6, according to Cape May County Prosecutor, Jeffrey H. Sutherland and North Wildwood Police Chief John Stevenson. Authorities received a call at 4:16 p.m. reporting a person trapped in a burning home at 2203 New York Avenue in North Wildwood, according to city Fire Chief Dominick McClain.
