Person Stabbed In Kearny, Suspect Apprehended: Police A 49-year-old Kearny man was arrested and charged after a stabbing on Friday, Oct. 18 left a man with life-threatening injurie, authorities said. Officers apprehended William Krebs following the stabbing on Quincy Avenue near Maple Street, Kearny police said. Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash: Fanwood PD A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to a hospital after a crash in Fanwood on the evening of Friday, Oct. 18, authorities said. At 9:18 p.m., officers responded to a crash at Midway Avenue and Tillotson Road after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle, Fanwood police said in a release. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said. Lake Hopatcong Man Seriously Injured After Crash On Route 287: Njsp A man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Route 287 in Somerset County on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 18. At 5:18 p.m., a Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bridgewater Township when it veered off the roadway to the right, struck the guardrail and then crossed into another lane, and hit another guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 66-year-old Lake Hopatcong resident sustained serious injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
