Nasir D. Robinson-Sanders, of Williamstown, was charged with manslaughter and weapons offenses in the fatal shooting of the boy on Sunday, April 16 in Monroe Township, police said.
At 3:33 P.M., Monroe Township police were dispatched to a residence on Chestnut Street for the report of a male who had been shot.
They found a victim who had sustained a single gunshot wound to the head, police said.
Police say a suspect, Robinson-Sanders, was present at the scene and taken into custody.
Robinson-Sanders is being held in the Salem County Correctional Facility pending further proceedings.
