Motorcyclist Killed In Route 78 Dump Truck Crash: Njsp A 59-year-old North Jersey motorcyclist was killed after crashing into the back of a dump truck on Route 78 Monday morning, Sept. 14, authorities said. Rosario Chiovaro, of Verona, was riding a Harley-Davidson east in the express lanes in Union Township when the motorcycle struck the rear of a Peterbilt dump truck around 8:37 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The motorcycle overturned, and Chiovaro was ejected and killed, Lebron said. No other injuries were reported.
