New Jersey State Police Mourns K-9 Echo, Explosive Detection Dog
Echo, who served in the New Jersey State Police K-9 unit for 11 years, was laid to rest on Thursday, April 4 due to health issues, the NJSP announced on Facebook.
Echo worked as an explosive detection dog, working for New Jersey's Detect and Render Safe Taskforce. Working with his partner, Sgt. Christopher Pastor, Echo conducted sweeps for the State House, state government buildings and events at MetLife Stadium, including ay Super Bowl XLVIII.

The City of Brotherly Love will have to wait to meet face-to-face with the Boss.
Bruce Springsteen postponed two scheduled concert dates at Citizens Bank Park on Aug. 16 and 18 due to "illness," the singer's team previously announced in a social media post.
The nixed shows have been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, and Friday, Aug. 23, 2024.
Tickets for the canceled concerts will still be honored, according to the singer's website.

A Pennsylvania man found himself in jail after a housekeeper at a hotel across the highway from MetLife Stadium found a loaded gun in his room, authorities said.
The 9mm Springfield Armory XD-E pistol found on a nightstand at the Hilton Meadowlands on eastbound Route 3 had eight hollow-point bullets in the magazine and a round in the chamber, East Rutherford Police Capt. Jeff Yannacone said.

Seeing Taylor Swift on her MetLife stadium leg of the Eras Tour comes with a price.
As of Tuesday, May 16, there were about 470 tickets left for her May 26 and May 27 shows, and 650 remaining for the May 28 show, according to Stubhub.
That is, if you're willing to fork over $1,700 — at least.
