Two New Jersey corrections officers were accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a teen at a juvenile detention center, authorities said. A wanted Pleasantville man and an Atlantic City teen were facing gun and drug charges in separate incidents, authorities said. Isaiah Cooper, 34, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 13. Officers responded to a fight involving a gun and a bicycle on the first block of South Iowa Avenue at around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Two teens turned themselves in to police after they were wanted in separate shootings in Atlantic City, authorities said. Ashan Jackson, 19, surrendered at Atlantic City police headquarters on Monday, Sept. 2, the department said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 5. He was accused of shooting a man on Wednesday, Mar. 13. A 13-year-old boy from Egg Harbor Township has been arrested in connection with posting a sex video on social media, authorities said. The "disturbing video," widely circulated among high school and middle school students, involved a younger victim, Egg Harbor Township police said. The youth was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment, police said. UPDATE: Two youths – one 14, the other 15 – were charged with attempted murder and other crimes after the younger one fired a gunshot at three teens in Moonachie, authorities said. Handguns, Drugs Seized In South Jersey Traffic Stop
A traffic stop resulted in the recovery of two handguns, ammunition and drugs in South Jersey, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug. 13, at 11:36 p.m, Pleasantville Police Officer Michael Mabkhouti located a stolen vehicle unoccupied on Lafayette Circle.
