Man With Special Needs Killed In Camden Fire, Campaign Says
A Camden family is mourning the loss of a loved one who died in a fire, according to a GoFundMe campaign.
Kwame Shawn Bryant was killed in the blaze at about 1 a.m. on Friday, March 8 in the 900 block of Newman Avenue, a Camden City spokesman confirmed. He was 35 years old.
"Shawn was born autistic with special needs," his sister, Patricia Bryant of Sicklerville, wrote on the GoFundMe page. "He loved all types of music, cooking, drawing and taking long drives."
It marked the third death of a Bryant family member in eight months, Patricia said.

An alleged killer's final Facebook post attracted support from friends and family in the days before and after a murder-suicide.
"Bye [till] we meet again I love y’all," Alex Morales wrote on Feb. 29, shortly after 11 p.m.
The post garnered 20 comments, some people checking in, others sending love.

A Lacey Township teen known for her love of cheerleading has died, according to a donation campaign.
A GoFundMe page said Chelsea Diehl of Forked River unexpectedly died on Sunday, Mar. 3. A cause of death was not mentioned for the 14-year-old girl.
Diehl's GoFundMe page had raised more than $24,000 from at least 496 donations as of Tuesday, Mar. 3.
Becky Hutler-Melanson, who organized the memorial fundraiser, said Diehl's death was devastating.

Camden Dad Bernaldo 'Bmac' Torres Dies Suddenly, 45
Bernaldo Torres of Camden died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 23, according to an obituary published by Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home and a GoFundMe campaign. He was 45.
Better known as Bernie to his family and Bmac to his close friends, he was born in Philadelphia, his obituary said.
"If anyone was ever looking for Bernaldo, he could always be found writing lyrics for his music," his obituary said. "This was his favorite pastime."
