24 Condos Destroyed By Fire In East Windsor Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive.  The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure. Three Buildings Damaged In Early Morning Fire On Jersey Shore Three buildings were damaged by an early morning fire in Cape May County, officials said. Avalon firefighters responded to the house fire on the 100 block of 32nd Street just before 1 a.m. on Friday, Apr. 12, the borough said in a Facebook post. The fire began in a single-family home under construction and a photo from the borough showed extensive damage to the house's second floor. Passaic House Fire Doused Friends said a woman and her teenage children lost most of their belonging when a July 4th weekend fire damaged their Passaic home. Firefighters quickly got to the Third Street address off Essex Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. and had the fire under control in barely a half-hour. They limited the fire damage to the first floor, where the blaze apparently began, and the second floor, which sustained heavy smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
