Authorities ID Woman Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train
Authorities have identified the person struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Friday, Oct. 13. Morgan Wilcock, 29, of Aberdeen, was hit at 8:05 a.m. near the crossing at Cliffwood Avenue, northwest of the Aberdeen-Matawan train station, NJ Transit said. The train that hit Wilcock left Bay Head at 6:53 a.m. and was due at New York Penn Station at 9:05 a.m. Service was suspended between South Amboy and Long Branch until 9:50 a.m. There were 200 people onboard.

North Jersey Coast Line rail service has resumed in both directions between Bay Head and Long Branch after an earlier collision with a vehicle, authorities said. At approximately 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, North Jersey Coast Line train 3312 struck the unoccupied vehicle at Cedar Avenue crossing in Long Branch, according to a NJ Transit spokesman. Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Train At Jersey Shore
A male was fatally struck by a train over the weekend at the Jersey Shore, NJ Transit officials confirmed. The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was struck by a North Jersey Coast Line train just before stopping in Spring Lake around 3 a.m. Sunday, June 4, NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said. None of the eight people on board train No. 4795 were injured. The train had departed Long Branch at 2:42 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Bay Head at 3:22 a.m.

Man Killed By Train In Monmouth County
A man was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in Monmouth County Saturday, March 11. The man was struck by North Jersey Coast Line train 4756 around 5:45 p.m. on Corlies Avenue near the Bradley Beach station, a New Jersey Transit spokesperson said. The train departed Bay Head at 5:19 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Long Branch at 5:58 p.m. There were no injuries reported to the five customers or crew on board. The next three North Jersey Coast Line trains were cancelled due to this incident, service has resumed.

Authorities have identified a man struck and killed by a train in Asbury Park. James Kessock, 34, Barnegat, was hit about 9:55 p.m. Sunday, according to Jim Smith, a New Jersey Transit spokesman Kessock was struck along the North Jersey Coast Line tracks near First Avenue around 9:55 p.m., Smith said. North Jersey Coast Line rail service was suspended in both directions between Long Branch and Bay Head. New Jersey Transit police investigated.

A man was struck and killed by a train Sunday night in Asbury Park, authorities said. The man was struck along the North Jersey Coast Line tracks near First Avenue around 9:55 p.m., New Jersey Transit spokesman Jim Smith said. New Jersey Transit police are investigating what train may have been involved. North Jersey Coast Line rail service was suspended in both directions between Long Branch and Bay Head. Woman, 73, Struck, Killed By Train At NJ Crossing
New Jersey Transit authorities have identified the person struck and killed by a train at a Jersey Shore crossing. Cynthia E. Sussman, 73, of Belmar was struck at 9:19 a.m. Sunday in Spring Lake by a North Jersey Coast line train, according to a NJ Transit spokesman. The train was traveling from Long Branch to Bay Head. There were 25 passengers on board. None of them were hurt.
