Man Indicted For Driving Drunk, Killing Atlantic City Pedestrian, Prosecutors Say A Pleasantville man was accused of driving drunk in a crash that killed an Atlantic City man, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Maykol Mendozarizo, 38, for second-degree vehicular homicide on Tuesday, July 16. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced the indictment in a news release on Friday, July 19. Mendozarizo was the driver in a deadly pedestrian crash on Albany Avenue in Atlantic City on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023. SWAT Arrests Man After Fight With Handgun In Atlantic City: Police A 31-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested by SWAT after a standoff with police, authorities said. On Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 2:19 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to Albany and Winchester Avenues for a report of a man threatening and chasing another man with a handgun. Arriving officers found the victim, 25, of Willingboro.
