A man was struck by a New Jersey Transit train and killed on New Year's Eve in Middletown, officials said. The man was hit by North Jersey Coast Line train No. 3361 on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, a NJ Transit spokesperson said. The collision happened near the Navesink River bridge at around 5:54 p.m. None of the 220 passengers and crew members aboard the train were injured. A Middletown man has been named as the pedestrian who was struck by a New Jersey Transit train and killed in Monmouth County, officials said. Michael Feldmann, 26, was identified as the victim in the crash on Wednesday, Dec. 4, an NJ Transit spokesperson said on Monday, Dec. 16. Pedestrian Survives Train Strike In Hudson County: NJ Transit
A pedestrian was truck by a train in Harrison on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 18, authorities said. At 12:50 a.m., Morris and Essex train 6907 struck the pedestrian just east of Broad Street Station, NJ Transit said. The train had departed New York Penn Station at 12:34 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Dover at 2:13 a.m., NJ Transit said.
