The fire broke out at about 1 a.m. Friday, July 5 on the 1000 Block of Lindberg Drive near Delsea Drive in Deptford, according to Union Fire Co. #1. NJ Mom Killed By Falling Tree While Camping With Family In Furious Upstate NY Storm
A New Jersey woman was killed in upstate New York over the weekend when a tree fell on her camper during fierce thunderstorms that ripped through the region, authorities said. At about 10:50 a.m. the Delaware County 911 Center received multiple reports of trees down on campers at multiple locations with an individual trapped at the Russell Brook Campground in the Town of Colchester. A 6-year-old boy died after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a South Jersey summer camp, authorities said. Bicyclist, 14, Dies Days After Route 38 Crash, State Police Say
A 14-year-old bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by an SUV in Burlington County a week ago died two days later, authorities said. The teenager was hit on the westbound side of Route 38 at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14 as he tried to cross the highway near milepost 19.1 in Southampton, New Jersey State Police said. A 57-year-old woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash in Trenton, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 near the intersection of East State and South Broad streets, according to Trenton police. The victim's name had not been released. South Brunswick police responded at 7:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a home on fire at 4 Beryl Court in the Kendall Park section of the Township.
