U.S. Marshals arrested 52-year-old Chaudhry Yousaf at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Monday, Dec. 30. 'You're Good:' NJ State Troopers Often Gave Connected Motorists Free Pass, Comptroller Finds The difference between getting a ticket and getting a warning from a New Jersey State Trooper could be based on who you know, according to a new report from the New Jersey Comptroller's Office. As part of its Police Accountability Project, the comptroller's office reviewed camera footage of 501 stops by state police that did not result in a ticket. In 27% of the stops, motorists presented a courtesy card, claimed to have a friend or relative in law enforcement, or flashed a law enforcement badge and then were let go, the report said. DUI Driver Crashed Stolen Car On Route 1: Police Authorities have identified the driver of a stolen car that crashed into a utility pole along Route 1 in Central Jersey. Jordan White, 35,  of Paterson, crashed on Friday,, June 28, South Brunswick police said. He was seriously injured, they said. White allegedly was under the influence of drugs, police said, and the 2007 Lincoln Town car he was driving was stolen.  He was charged with receiving stolen property, driving under the influence, and numerous motor vehicle violations, police said.
