Woman Sexually Assaulted In Mercer County: Prosecutor
A 34-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Hightstown Friday, Sept. 11, authorities said. At 7:30 p.m., she told police she was walking in the area of Park Way and Rogers Avenue when she was approached from behind by an unknown man who physically and sexually assaulted her, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified., authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.

More US Measles Deaths Of 2026 Reported
All of the measles deaths reported in the United States so far this year have occurred in Pennsylvania, where a third resident has died amid the nation’s largest outbreak, officials said. A 40-year-old Jefferson County woman died Saturday, Sept. 12, from complications associated with measles, Coroner Greg Furlong announced. Pennsylvania’s diesel average is now within a penny of its all-time record, a surge that is putting new pressure on the truckers who keep the state’s stores, warehouses and worksites supplied.
