Serious Crash Shuts Route 287 In Morris County A serious crash closed a stretch of Route 287 in Morris County on Thursday night, Oct. 31. The NJDOT site says the crash happened in the northbound lanes, north of Exit 39 in Hanover.  As of 8:40 p.m., two right lanes were closed and emergency vehicles were at the scene.

Loaded Gun Found In Stolen Mercedes After Pursuit-Crash, Perp Search In North Jersey: Cops A loaded gun was recovered from a stolen Mercedes Benz following a high-speed pursuit and subsequent crash in which a 19-year-old man and four juveniles were charged, police in Morris County said. Hanover police officer Brian Morrisroe was on patrol when he saw a Mercedes with heavy window tints and an expired inspection sticker speeding on Wednesday, June 19, Hanover Police Chief Mike Loock said.
