ICE Makes Arrests Outside Morristown Business: Mayor
Morristown Mayor Timothy Dougherty said his office is seeking information after Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers made an arrest outside a business on Monday, Feb. 10. The New Jersey State Attorney General's Office released surveillance camera footage and police radio transmissions after a state trooper struck and killed a Morris County cyclist in February. At 6 a.m., on Monday, February 5, Kesene Grier was driving an unmarked police SUV when she struck Raul Diaz, a 59-year-old Long Valley resident in Hackettstown, the state attorney general's office said. The New Jersey State Attorney General's Office has released bodycam footage of a police involved shooting that left a 39-year-old man dead. Police were called to a home on Elizabeth Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 2023, for a man later identified as Shannon Rose, 39, of Manchester, who was in distress, the AG's office said (scroll for video).
