A 12:51 p.m., officers began investigating a hit and run collision on Winding Hill Drive, Mount Olive police said. Officers located the black Acura involved in the crash at a residence on Winding Hill Drive with the driver, Rakhit Shayan, still in the vehicle, police said. Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Chief of Police Luis A. Guzman said. McNeil died two days later at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Fleeing Morris County Driver Hits Officer, Arrested At Costco: Police A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged after he struck a police officer while fleeing on Sunday, Oct. 20, authorities said. While officers were conducting a traffic stop on Indian Road, it was discovered the driver, Liam Harrigan, had an active NCIC Warrant out of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Denville police said. As officers attempted to take Harrigan into custody, he fled from them in his vehicle, police said.
