Fleeing Morris County Driver Hits Officer, Arrested At Costco: Police
A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged after he truck a police officer while fleeing on Sunday, Oct. 20, authorities said.
While officers were conducting a traffic stop on Indian Road, it was discovered the driver, Liam Harrigan, had an active NCIC Warrant out of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Denville police said.
As officers attempted to take Harrigan into custody, he fled from them in his vehicle, police said. While fleeing, Harrigan struck a Denville police officer, leaving him with minor injuries, authorities said.
