Woman, 76, Charged In Deadly New Year’s Eve Hit-And-Run In Wildwood, Prosecutors Say A Wildwood Crest woman was accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash in Wildwood on New Year's Eve, authorities said. Marylin Glenn, 76, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 2, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release. Investigators said Glenn struck a pedestrian identified by the initials C.C. near the intersection of West Hand and Hudson avenues. Glenn left the area but contacted law enforcement shortly after the crash. Fishing Boat Accident Closes Two Mile Bridge The Middle Thorofare Two Mile Bridge was closed due to a boat crash on Saturday, Aug. 31, officials said. Wildwood Crest Mayor Don Cabrera posted a statement around 6:15 a.m. saying the 85-year-old bridge was struck by a fishing vessel. It had not reopened as of 9 a.m. "If you are traveling from the Wildwoods or into Wildwood’s early this morning and plan to use this bridge you may want to take alternate routes," the mayor said. The bridge had been closed earlier this month after the drive shaft broke.

Wildwood firefighters responded to the house on the 100 block of East Roberts Avenue at around 3:36 on Wednesday, May 22, the department said in a Facebook post.
